A few weeks back a crew of us cleared away the slate that was set down around the two boulders that stand each side of the Boden Park Scholarstown Road entrance. We bagged it all and were able to dispose of about half the slate the following week. Park Developments have kindly agreed to take the remaining bags next week (week starting 18th of October). We can then dig out the remaining stone and put some good quality top soil in place and address planting the area.
One of our residents (Colm Kenny) is a fine Landscaper and has gratefully put himself forward to help us with the task of designing this. Colm took on board everyone’s suggestions and has put forward a planting plan that looks good, is durable and should be easy to maintain.
In the coming weeks we hope to put this plan into action but if you have any thoughts in the meantime please email these to firstname.lastname@example.org
