We’d like to thank all of those who contributed to the clean ups in Boden Park recently. A huge effort was made by all to spruce up our estate, and I think you can see from the Glen to the Avenue the whole place is looking a whole lot tidier than before. Rubbish won’t stop accumulating, and weeds/leaves won’t disappear so a special mention should be made to all of those who keep cleaning , keep picking up litter, keep waste at bay all year round – not just on clean up days. They put on their work gloves, give up their valuable time and selflessly make our home a better place. Thank you.
The big clean up day is back on! We are now all set for a right good polishing of Boden Park on Saturday the 27th of February. Start time 1.30pm – finish 4.30pm
Meeting point is at the entrance to the Boden Park Estate (Scholarstown road) at the rock at 1.30pm sharp
Designated areas will be allocated on the day for placing the collected litter/leaves/etc. We’ll have bags and pickers, but please bring your own gloves and also any garden implements you might have.
Eoin Ryan – our new chairperson- has arranged that the rubbish will be picked up on Monday the 29th of February by South Dublin County Council (Thank you S.D.C.C.) from the entrance.
Please don’t underestimate how important your contribution will be – it really is a case of many hands making light work.
Looking forward to seeing you there on the 27th!!
