At the recent AGM, the annual subscription was agreed at €20. Your local road representative will call shortly to arrange collection. Subs can also be paid electronically to AIB Rathfarnham, (BIC & IBAN are in the newsletter that you will have received through your front door in the last few days.). No subscriptions have been collected in recent years, so all funds will be gratefully received and put to good use. Funds permitting, we are hoping to hold a Sports Day in September and other events later in the year.
Once again, many thanks to those of you who turned out in May to clean the walkway. We had a super turnout, so we are planning another one! Our next clean-up is on Saturday the 20th July, from 10am to 12 noon. We are hoping to tackle the Scholarstown Road end of the walkway, leading back down to The Green. Meet at the open space between The Rise and The Avenue at 10am.
It is the middle of the Tidy Towns judging season and Longitude Festival is impacting on our area.
Ballyboden Tidy Towns are organizing a Tidy Town Meitheal (clean up crew) tomorrow Sunday from 10am till 12 Noon . This will also include their Monthly River Clean up of the Owendoher in association with the amazing Dodder Action. Meet up is at Ballyroan Boys National School.
If you can drop by for a little while even 30 mins that would be tremendous or perhaps during the week you might, if going for a stroll, with yr family or friends keep an eye out for litter & pick it up. If you can’t that’s fine too 😊
